If you’ve read my About Laura page, then you know that I have a LOT of interests!  When I get fascinated with a topic, I immerse myself in it.  For example, I love nature and wildlife, so I pursued volunteer opportunities at the National Zoological Park where I worked with great cats and other animals for over 16 years, learning about their behaviors, social interactions, and conservation efforts to save them.  I once watched a documentary on Marie Curie and spent the next two weeks reading everything I could about radium and particle physics to understand how it all works.  All of these interests have given me a truly unique resume and a deeper-than-introductory level of understanding on a variety of topics!

Also, when I get excited about a topic, I LOVE to share what I have learned!  Through my work at the zoo, with the National Red Cross, and with various horseback riding programs (just to name a few), I have gained experience sharing detailed histories, stories, and experiences with audiences of all ages to educate them, energize them, and tug at their heartstrings. When you want stirring, knowledgeable, and insightful documentary narrations, I will bring my authentic real-world knowledge, relatable storytelling, and genuine enthusiasm to your project.
